The Battle of New Greece was the final battle of the first Greco-Roman war, fought between the New Greek Empire and the Roman Empire on both land and sea. Multiple Roman Legions were defeated by smaller armies of Greek Hoplites, while heated cannonfire was deployed against the Roman boats by Greek Triremes, which had been coated in chainmail to prevent fires.
