Senatorial Succession is the numbering system used by the Roman Empire to name the successive Senates that have presided over the Empire since the establishment of the Imperial Constitution in 1851. The current Senate is the 55th Senate, which was officially sworn in on 4 June 2014, and will be dissolved on 4 March 2017.
