The Democratic Socialist Republic of Arawak, commonly known as South Arawak, is a single-party democratic socialist nation that was established in 2002 following the end of the Arawak Civil War. It is headed by Raúl Milano as President. The legislative branch of the country is headed by the General Secretary, Esteban Fernandez.

South Arawak was founded after the end of the Arawak Civil War. It seceded from Arawak in 2002, forming a democratic socialist state. The government is considered to be one of the most successful examples of communism in the world, much to the jealousy of the Soviet Union.
